I could not get this to work with my machine. It is an nesspresso Venturo machine and the process starts then stalls and I get a red signal. I hope it did not r ruin my machine.

Made very well and heavy whis is the problem. It's easy to use with a reusable lid and does work. You can hear the machine struggle to get up to speed. Comes out great and I love the 14oz size which is no longer available from Nespresso.

I originally wrote a negative review because I wanted a pod that fits with the silicone caps that this company offers, and I have been using for years with recycled pods that are deteriorating, but this pod is too small and the caps don't fit. FAST FORWARD a couple years and I re-thought this issue. The pod is a little smaller, but it is really the inner part of the pod that is smaller. It is well made and will last a lifetime. I really wanted a way to not have to continually buy their foil caps, and wallah! I figured it out. All you have to do is cut the outer ring off the silicone caps, so the cap fits into the pod! I would not recommend this item for your Nespresso Vertuo machine. It doesn't work at all. It will break your machine unless you don't care & can afford to buy another machine.I tried it and it brew then it made a loud noise then shut off my machine. I was able to get my machine to work afterward but this item is going back for sure.I spent too much monies on my machine to have this item break it.

Easy to clean, easy to seal, foil caps could be smaller. That would improve ease of sealing.You need to make a stand with top funnel for the perfect refilling experience.The best I have found. I have a drawer full of others that are the wrong size or just don't work.This is a great start. Hey marketing people, How about a 4 pack bundle with a discount. I was extremely disappointed when Nespresso decided to quit making the XL 14 oz. (410 ml) pods. The only reason I purchased the Nespresso was for the 14 oz. cup of coffee so for them to discontinue the 14 oz. pods was more than upsetting. When they did, I broke down and went through my bag of to-be-recycled pods and cut all the 14 oz. open and emptied and washed them all in hot soapy water and rinsed them in boiling water. I then spent a month or more coming up with the perfect grind and amount to put in the empty pods to make it actually work in the Nespresso machine. This has been working great but the more I reuse and wash these Nespresso pods, the weaker they are getting. This reusable pod is made of stainless steel and the walls are quite a bit thicker (and are therefore heavier) than the standard disposable Nespresso pods. These pods spin during brewing, and there was enough imbalance to cause the machine to shut down. I've only used it once so far. When I restarted it, it worked. I packed the ground coffee in fairly uniformly and tightly packed. Maybe I should have let it be looser. Maybe the compressed chunk of coffee grounds is what moved off-center. Note: In my Nespresso machine, the water is injected on the centerline and flows out to the edges and up out the holes around the edge. This is driven by the fast rotation of the pod.
