I gave this organizer as a gift for my husband seven years ago. It has held up well and makes it easy to find, sort and store all the game pieces. My husband received two new expansion sets and they are easily added to the box. Even with four expansions, there are plenty of dividers to keep tiles separated and more than enough space for specialty meeples. I love that the organizer fits in the original box and keeps everything in one place. Highly recommend!

We liked it so much that we bought an older set with version 1 art from someone on Craigslist. It includes the base game and The River, plus the following major expansions: Inns & Cathedrals, Traders & Builders, The Tower, and Abbey & Mayor. I recently purchased this to organize all of my expansions for Carcassonne. I have Expansions 1 through 9, except Expansion 7 which I can never find. It took me about an hour to assemble it and it was not too difficult. Make sure you have a small rubber mallet handy because it was a lot easier to assemble with a rubber mallet. The directions were easy to follow and made sense. I now have all of my expansions except Expansion 4 my original Carcassonne Base box. I would highly recommend this product because it is very sturdy, made of good quality wood, and was not too hard to assemble.

I really like what the Broken Token is doing with organizing options. I think the actual product is sturdy and well designed but the measurements on the site are a bit confusing. The only other thing I felt was off is that there's various editions of the game I own (Carcassonne) and the organizer only really works with some of them. Trying to figure out if the organizer was going to fit my game was a little frustrating and I did have to sand and modify my organizer to make it work. All and all after I got the kit together and sanded it fit very well and definitely helps me keep my game organized.

We love Broken Token box organizers. Despite the high cost (nearly as much as the game in many cases) we have found that they do a great job protecting the game box and pieces. The one for Castles of Burgundy is especially good.Unfortunately, that is not the case for this one. We purchased Carcassonne and this organizer at the same time. We put it all together and went to put it in the box, but to our disappointment, it ripped the seams of the box. More than that, it isn’t that necessary like it is for a game with lots of different pieces. Carcassonne has two types of pieces—meeples and cards. Both fit neatly in the provided box as it comes without the need for this insert.So we recommend these for other games, but for Carcassonne, the organizer isn’t needed and doesn’t fit well.

I bought this organizer hoping I could fit all the contents from Big Box 4 ( Carcassonne Big Box Game ) into the smaller base game box which I also own (so it would fit more easily into one of my board game bookcases... the big box was too big to fit).Big Box 4 contains the base game, two large expansions (Inns & Cathedrals and Traders & Builders), six small expansions (The Flying Machine, The Messengers, The Ferries, The Gold Mines, Mage & Witch, and The Robbers), plus one mini expansion (The Crop Circles).I also own a few other small expansions: The River, The Phantom, The Festive, and The School.I'm happy to report that this organizer was able to accommodate everything listed above (i.e., the base game, 2 larger expansions, and 11 mini-expansions all in one regular base game box). My base set box was getting a bit unwieldy, as I contorted the cardboard divider in the bottom this way and that in order to accommodate an increasing number of expansions. The Broken Token organizer is a great solution. I took my time cutting out the pieces instead of just popping them out, and shaving down the burrs on the joins where it matters. I didn't put an exorbitant amount of time into this, but it was a fine way to relax while enjoying a beer. At first, it seemed a bit large for the box... but my corners just weren't properly squared up. Once everything was really tight and flush, the fit was great. The instructions recommend gluing loose bits and taping the corners... I haven't bothered to do this, there are so many joins that it's holding together tightly on its own. I've …

Product does not fit in Carcassonne box without taking scissors to frame pieces, and it does not organize anything - divider spacing is such that you will either waste a full expansion's worth of space in the box, or expansions will end up having to share spaces, which defeats the entire point of having an organizer. Does not take into account the scoring track either - you can't put it on the bottom of the box because even after trimming the frame, that thing is never coming coming out again; if you put it on top, there's a good half-inch of empty air under two thirds of the scoring track.
