This switch worked well for a few weeks. However, one of the monitors started showing artifacting around the edges, which eventually turned into a blurry screen. Swapping HDMI cables had no effect. After powering the KVM down, it wouldn't turn back on. In a panic, I purchased another KVM thinking this one was dead. 5 minutes later, it turned back on when plugging it back in again. This became a normal pattern where if I ever needed to turn it off (due to rearranging my office), I wouldn't be able to power it back on again for another 5 mins.Additionally, one monitor wouldn't recognize the other PC when switching over. I would have to switch over exactly 3 times before the monitor would recognize the signal.Having a USB hard drive plugged in to this switch never worked. It simply wouldn't …

I have two HP 24mh monitors that are linked to this thing and my two supply computers are laptops. Each laptop has one HDMI outlet and one display port outlet. I had to convert the display port to an HDMI which required an extra adapter (one for each computer). The length of the special HDMI cables that include the speaker and microphone cables were perfect but my computers are right next to the KVM switch. My mouse and keyboard are both wireless USB and I plugged the USB for both directly into the KVM switch. LOVE the fact that my monitors, keyboard, and mouse all switch over with just a double click of my scroll wheel. Who knew this could be so seamless.I do experience a very slight lag on my mouse, but I can't tell if that is because of the KVM switch.I have noticed no resolution …

Originally ordered in March of 2020... had to replace it in December of 2020.Overall, this was a pretty good KVM switch. Initially, it was perfect and did everything I expected it to do. No issues... but over time, I started to see some weird glitches. Nothing that prevented me from using the switch, but the indicator lights (indicating which machine I was using) became unreliable... sometimes they would work, sometimes the wouldn't. Not a big deal, as I was still able to switch systems without any problems, but...Then, in the last two days, the switch suddenly stopped powering my keyboard and mouse when on machine 1. Bought this KVM switch in April 2020. Worked fine until August 2020 when one of the computers I have connected to the switch (let's call it Computer A) stopped accepting signals from the connected keyboard. No big deal, I just used a second keyboard plugged directly into Computer A. Sure, it was annoying, but it still mostly worked.In October 2020, Computer A started accepting signals from the keyboard attached to the KVM switch again (through no action of my own; it just started working again), but then, one of the monitors connected to the KVM switch says "NO SIGNAL" no matter which computer (A or B) is currently selected on the KVM switch. To make sure it wasn't a problem with the HDMI cables, I swapped in new HDMI cables in both of the "HDMI OUT" ports that go to the displays. No …

First I am happy with the weight of this switcher. That's important for it to stay in place with so many large and heavy cables attached to it. It also has "sticky" feet that help keep it from sliding around.I am using the wired switch remote at this time and it works nicely. I have attempted briefly to try using the keyboard to make the switch change hosts, but it didn't work. My main computer is a Linux workstation so I'm not real hopeful it will work. I'm going to attempt changing the keys used to do the switching to something that would work, but this is not high on my priorities since the wired remote works great. This product has worked perfectly since I first set it up (about a month now of daily 12+ hr use). The housing feels solid and the buttons aren't loose or cheap so it feels like a well made item. Its pretty easy to set up but one word of caution - double check your input and output ports. Map out your cables and ends on a piece of paper before you buy anything. I didn't do this and had to end up looking for some extra cables around my office, no big deal though.The unit transfers between one computer and the other in milliseconds and with no display or mouse/keyboard issues (my keyboard is wired, my mouse is wireless). I work from home multiple days a week. I also play pc games, so it’s important to have responsive equipment.I’m very pleased with the performance of the switch. It handles switching well and I game with my keyboard and mouse through it.Update 3/27/2020:After a month's use, the switch does well but has a couple of hiccups including: about 1-2 times a day (I work from home), the switch loses the ability to use the keyboard and mouse - fix: switch to/from and it works fine. Another issues is that the aux jack does not output without white noise. I tried the aux output with a set of speakers and multiple sets of headphones. It took a while to find this KVM, but once I did it was an easy decision. it's small and compact and fits nicely on my desk. with HDMI cables it's limited to 1080P, but that's exactly what I needed. The screen is awesome and the resolution is perfect. I'm not tech-savvy, but I am a frequent user! I have a very complex set up with two different style Laptop docs. One normal Dell and the other for the Microsoft Surface Pro Doc. I also use a wireless doc without any issues. I thought I knew better and tried to set a few things up without using the instructions. I learned that the mouse and keyboard drivers need to reload through the kvm for the wireless M&K to work.If you are using a KVM, you probably have a complex set up similar to mine.
